The story of WYBDLGG begins with a memory steeped in the warmth of tweed. Emily, the brand's founder, grew up with her grandmother in the Cotswold countryside. In her grandmother's cottage, a warm fireplace perpetually burned, and a hand-woven tweed blanket, woven by her grandmother, draped over the sofa. The dark gray and off-white check pattern, woven from local wool, had a characteristic rough, warm feel, and the edges bore subtle traces of her grandmother's mistakes and repairs. Coming home from school, Emily would wrap herself in this blanket and do her homework on the hearth rug.
